Check structured data on a local business page

Check local-business structured data against the visible page and approved business facts. A validator can identify technical issues, but it cannot confirm that an address, opening hour or phone number is true. Choose only markup that accurately describes the actual entity and page.

Compare visible business facts with markup

Match the generated business identity, address, hours, phone and type to the visible page and approved facts. Use technical validation and human factual review as separate checks. A remote service area does not justify a fabricated address, and valid markup cannot guarantee special search appearance or improved local rankings.

Worked example — illustrative data.

Field Visible specimen Markup review
Name Fictional High Street Frames Same intended entity
Address Actual retail destination required No invented office or coordinates
Hours Owner-approved regular/exceptional schedule Match the relevant current schedule
Phone Approved public contact Same destination and context
Business type Appropriate real activity No unsupported category or credential

Obtain owner-confirmed public facts before creating the object. Compare each generated property with the page, source record and relevant current documentation. Use a validator for syntax and supported requirements, then retain the result alongside a human factual review. Keep branch identities distinct where customers visit different destinations. Recheck generated values after hours, address or phone changes rather than assuming the code updates automatically.

Compare one location’s visible facts before validating markup

Read the visible business name, public address where applicable, phone and hours beside the corresponding structured-data fields. Resolve a factual mismatch before focusing on the validator result. For a remotely served city, do not add a fabricated branch to satisfy a markup pattern. Check the actual business entity and location policy against current records.

A served city may have no public business address

A remote service business may serve a city without having a public location there. Do not add a fabricated address to satisfy a LocalBusiness pattern; select representation that matches the real organization and visible content.

Accept the markup when the entity and visible facts are accurate and the technical checks pass. No special search appearance or local ranking is promised by this specimen.
